Davene is a clinical social worker licensed in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Idaho. As the owner of Coping Matters, PLLC with over 28 years of experience, she works with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Davene specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and family conflict, using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and mindfulness. She also provides behavioral assessments and school-based interventions and strategies.

Committed to creating a safe, judgment-free space, Davene helps clients build practical skills, improve daily functioning, and achieve lasting emotional and behavioral wellness. Her goal is to help each client, regardless of age, achieve emotional and behavioral stability, build independence, and confidently transition out of services equipped with lasting skills for continued growth.
